There is nothing I love more than a cozy sweater dress in the Fall. It’s an effortless look that always makes me feel understated yet sexy. I styled it here with over the knee boots and black accessories. Black and navy make for a great color combination, and I couldn’t love this black on black backpack by Rebecca Minkoff more! It feels sophisticated and chic and I have a feeling I will be carrying it an embarrassingly amount of times.  You can create this entire look for under $200 with the items I have linked below (the look for less)! Be sure to check it out! Xx

Sweater / Skinny Jeans (high rise fav!) / Jacket / Pumps / Handbag

Happy Saturday! I am currently getting ready for an early morning boat ride with my family to brunch, and the weather is FINALLY feeling like Fall and I couldn’t be happier. I love this look because it can easily be created with existing pieces in your closet. The side detailing on this sweater won me over, and I am currently wanting and loving everything green. If you are going to splurge on a few pieces make sure you have great fitting denim (straight leg and a flare) and a killer pair of nude pumps. I have had these patient nude ones for years now and they still boost my confidence every time I slip them on. The camo jacket ties everything together and makes the look feel current and slightly trendy, elevating great classics. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Florals and Toppers

img_8504 img_8599 img_8600 img_8601 img_8602 img_8603 img_8604 img_8606Lately, I can’t seem to get enough of romantic floral prints, and I especially love this gorgeous one by Equipment. I kept the feminine print grounded with black matte accessories and added a pop of color with this Tart jacket. I love the weight of this jacket because it is light enough for these unpredictable Fall temperatures when it creeps back up to 80 degrees. I have carefully picked a handful of amazing lighter jackets below, and the majority are super budget friendly! In my opinion, Fall always calls for layers and a light weight jacket is key for cooler mornings and nights.  Be sure to check out the links below and happy Tuesday! Xx

Happy Friday! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. Although dressing can be difficult because of the crazy temps, I love mixing a cozy sweater with cut offs so the outfit feels current and effortless. I kept this look neutral with Joie ankle booties (a wardrobe staple MUST!) and tortoise shell sunnies. Believe it or not these fabulous Karen Walker sunglasses were free through an amazing company called Ditto. Ditto is a sunglass rental company where you can pick a pair of designer sunglasses (great selection!) for $24 a month and keep them as long as you want until you are ready to switch them out. It is so easy and user friendly! Use the code SEEDED for a free first month. You will not be disappointed! Have a wonderful weekend Xx

I said YES!

I couldn’t be more excited to share this exciting news with everyone; I said yes!! My best friend and by far my better half, asked me on September 21st (cue the song) to marry him, and I have been over the moon since! It was an unforgettable moment, when on a mountain top in the Highlands my (now) fiancé got on one knee and popped the question. An absolutely surreal and beautiful moment that I will never forget!  I can not wait to share this journey with you as I prepare for and plan a wedding. I apologize in advance for all the bridal inspiration and white attire!! Here are a few personal favorites of my sweet family. Xx

Body Suits x Boyfriend Jeans

IMG_7365   IMG_7368 IMG_7369 IMG_7471 IMG_7371Free People Body Suit / AG Boyfriend Jeans (available at Obligato) / Schutz Shoes / Below the Belt

Happy Monday! I had the best time visiting best friends in Greenville this weekend, and I wore a similar look Friday night. Bodysuits are back and I couldn’t be more excited. I know they can seem terrifying but done right they can make an outfit look chic and smooth. This particular body suit is more casual, so I kept the look simple with boyfriend jeans and neutral accessories. Honestly, I have to be in the mood for boyfriend jeans. Ironically, my boyfriend is not a fan (he’s not afraid to be vocal and I’m not afraid to ignore it!) but with the contrast of the fitted bodysuit and a high blocked heel it got his stamp of approval (cue the eye roll I know)! Also, don’t be afraid to style your bodysuit with a more fitted look like skinny jeans or a bandage skirt. I think they look especially chic with high-waisted jeans or for you corporate working gals, styled under a tailored suit or pencil skirt. I have tagged a few of my favorite pieces below! Xx

Dusters and Denim

With fall around the corner, I have started looking for transitional pieces. In Tennessee, temps stay pretty warm well into the Fall so transitioning can sometimes be challenging. I initially purchased this L Space piece as a cover up, but I quickly learned it was just too long to throw on with flip flops (def not rocking a bikini and heels at the neighborhood pool) and it was too hot for long sleeves. However, I loved styling this piece as a vest or duster draped over cuts off and a tank, a dress, or my favorite look, skinny jeans and a silk top. A third piece is key for transitioning summer looks into Fall, and I have linked a few of my favorites and more below! Xx

Recently, I have fallen madly in love with all pieces by Equipment. The line is classic and timeless but always feels fresh and current. This particular dress fits my flirty personality and feminine style, and I could not love the print more! I wanted to keep the look casual, so I kept the necktie loose with a simple knot and slipped on sneakers, oversized sunglasses, and a slouchy crossbody bag. I love the versatility in this dress and how the entire look can transformed by tying the necktie differently. For a dressy look, I can’t wait to tie the necktie in a giant bow snug around my neck and slip into high nude heels. Happy Wednesday! XX

IMG_5879off shoulder dress under $100! (available at Elle)  // snakeskin flats (old, similar here) // tote // pearl choker (available at Obligato) // saddle bag (investment vs budget friendly)

Its safe to say I have fully embraced the trends of chokers and off the shoulder dresses. I wore this look to the farmers market this weekend, and I love how the dress looked effortless but polish. I was sold if not on the price, but the fact the dress has pockets (always a weakness)!

So I can’t believe it is already July! If only there was a way to make time stand still or at least slow down!! To make the most of this month, I came up with a July to do list. I figured if I actually wrote it down I would feel more pressure to follow through, so here goes nothing!

  1. Virginia Creeper Trail (hope to do this on Saturday!)
  2. Drive in movie date
  3. Host an outdoor dinner party
  4. Plant an herb garden with C
  5. Watch a sunrise and sunset at the beach
  6. Visit some wineries outside of Atlanta
  7. Dollywood (its been a minute since I have been!)
  8. Try the new bowling place downtown, Maple Hall
  9. Master a new recipe
  10. Conquer Mount Leconte with my love (11 miles yikes!

I would love to hear what would make your summer to do list! Hope everyone has a wonderful week! XX
