Topshop Romper (on sale!) / Topshop Lace Up Flats (also love these and these) / Rebecca Minkoff Crossbody / Jocelyn Fur Keychain (Obligato) / Prada Sunnies
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful 2015, and I can not wait to see what 2016 has to offer. A romper is an easy and effortless look. I love the olive color of this Topshop one (size up) and it’s machine washable! Olive and cognac has always been one of my favorite color combinations and I love how these lace up leopard flats tie the whole look together. Who else is excited about the bachelor starting tonight?! The first few episodes are always my favorite. Happy Monday! XX
Joie Top (available at Obligato) / Frame denim / Pumps (on sale!) / Fendi Bag (old, similar here) / Prada Sunnies
I have always loved monochromatic looks. I am guilty of wearing a lot of black, so I love how refreshing these various shades of gray look. Gray jeans are so versatile and look great with heavy winter fabrics and just as chic with linens and crisp whites in the summer. A great closet staple to invest in! I am defiantly packing them tonight for my trip tomorrow. What is everyone doing for New Years? I am looking forward to spending the night with my man and friends in sunny Florida! Hope everyone has a happy and safe New Years! XX
Leather Jacket (also love this one) / Lace Cami (cheaper version here and here) / Boyfriend Jeans / Claire V Clutch / Christian Louboutins / Prada Sunnies
If you are living in the South, then I am sure you can relate to how uncharacteristically warm it has been this winter. This outfit is perfect for these warm winter days, and are great closet stables for every season. I am in love with this cami and it’s dainty lace neckline. Its perfect under sweaters and jackets, and looks chic tucked into a pencil skirt. I am definitely going to get it in this wine version. I paired it here with my favorite distressed boyfriend jeans, nude pumps, and leather jacket for when the sun goes down. My rule of thumb for boyfriend jeans is to always pair them with a pair of high heels and form-fitting top so your figure isn’t lost. This leopard clutch is a must have, and I am also contemplating this one. Happy Monday! XX
Madison Stone Jacket (available at Obligato) // J.Crew Dress (old, similar here and here) // Tights // Rebecca Minkoff Bag (25% off) // Boots
I can’t believe it’s Black Friday! Today is the perfect time to do your Christmas shopping and take full advantage of all the fabulous sales. I always like to purchase great closet staples on Black Friday and this look captures those key pieces, like a plaid statement jacket, a structured bag, and over the knee boots. Below are a few great sales happening that I plan to take full advantage of this weekend. Also, Obligato is having 20% off store wide, the perfect time to score my plaid jacket on sale. Happy shopping!
Tory Burch (up to 30% off) – love this plaid jacket and mini cross body bag
Shopbop (up to 25% off) – love this sweater dress and this leopard clutch
Nordstrom (additional 25% off select sale) – my favorite over the knee boots and fur vest
J.Crew (30% off site wide) – my sisters and I just got this Christmas pajama set and my favorite winter coat that’s usually excluded is now on sale
Rebecca Minkoff (25% off total order) – love this red mini tote
Old Navy Poncho (on sale!) // Bailey 44 Leather Dress (Obligato), also love this one // Boots (on sale!) // Rebecca Minkoff Bucket Bag (Obligato)
First off, please excuse my website as I work hard to update the look to make my blog more visually appealing, clean, and user friendly! But with the holidays literally HERE (yay!) I wanted to keep posting while the site is slightly under construction. Be sure to sign up with your email address for post updates!
This look contains great closet staples and can easily take you from day to night. I love the faux leather and zipper detailing on this Bailey 44 shift dress from Obligato, and the poncho slightly relaxes and softens the entire look. I also love that this poncho cost less than $25 but looks so rich when paired with higher end pieces. I have never been a look for less shopper (although I should, I mean who am I?!) but I love the concept of mixing high and low pieces to achieve a rich look. Obligato has a great selection of Bailey 44 pieces so be sure to check them out and stay tuned for black Friday specials!
Free People Dress (Obligato) also love this one // Necklace (Obligato) similar, here // Boots // Bralet
I love the simplicity of this turtleneck baby doll dress. The hemline gives the dress some flare, and is anything but boring when paired with over the knee boots. A good rule of thumb when styling over the knee boots is to keep the silhouette of the dress loose, especially if shorter to keep it from going too sexy (think Pretty Woman). Obligato has some amazing fall pieces, including beautiful furs so be sure to stop by their store! XO
Hudson Jeans (size down) // Rails Top // Zara Jacket (old, similar here) // Rebecca Minkoff Bag // Sunnies
I had the best time this past weekend in New York. I got to check off two must sees on my list including the Loeb Boathouse at Central Park and the NOMO SOHO Hotel, and they did not disappoint! This season, I highly recommend investing in a pair of flared denim. They immediately make any look current, and elongate your legs. These Hudson jeans have an amazing dark wash and are super comfortable without compromising on fit. I prefer flares with a high stiletto or a peep toe, but practicality won walking the streets of the city. XO
